Street Training in Georgia

On mission in Tbilisi, 2023

A blessing to be invited to bring a street mission team back to Georgia for the first time since the pandemic. Our team of three (Samuel, Paul and Gareth) were able to lead some evangelism training for local believers and proclaim Christ on the streets near the Metro stations at Liberty Square and Rustaveli. We found it refreshing how many were open to hearing the Gospel and were particularly encouraged by the large crowd who stopped to listen to the interpreted preaching at Rustaveli (a crowd that included both JW's and Mormon missionaries!). Two young men prayed prayers of commitment on the streets and many others took Gospel booklets and John's gospels. The team also had the privilege of sharing at the Saturday afternoon youth service and during the Sunday morning service at the main church.

“We reached people outside, shared the Gospel; singing, preaching... we distributed around 3000 booklets...[and] around 1000 gospel of John's [during the weekend]...
