April 2018...

In early April, a team of 5 evangelists partnered with local Portuguese churches and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at the Festival of Hope in Lisbon. With gospel proclamation in the streets, plenty of one on one gospel encounters, and four packed Festival events, it was a memorable and inspiring time. It was amazing to see so many respond to the call to follow Christ - over 1100 during the two days. Brilliant! For our team, it was a joy to be part of what God was doing in that city, to get a 'behind the scenes' look at the Festival, and to serve with the Festival team. It was also a privilege to serve alongside local believers and ministries in taking the gospel to the streets as we sought to declare the Good News in the open air. The need is great. God is strong!

Please pray as we continue talks with Portuguese leaders as to how we can continue partnership in gospel proclamation and the training of young evangelists.

"The moments following each service at the Festival of Hope were always special but counting up the response cards and seeing each of the people who accepted Christ was very moving.
