HM Poland 2021...
|
Having postponed the dates twice due to the pandemic, we were thrilled that History Makers 2021 could happen offline! The 17 participants who came were thirsty for normal relationships, for getting to know other people, for learning from God and from others. We've had a couple of people join us from central Poland, quite a big group from Krakow (from a local church and a few reps from the Cru ministry) and others from other places. From their final feedback, it was clear that God used this time to invest into each person, to encourage, inspire and make very concrete decisions as to the next steps. The common underlying desire was to become more intimate with God, the source on which everything can be built. (Paulina Krol, Team Leader, Poland)

HM Poland 2019...
The team in Poland pioneered a new format for History Makers in 2019, which was very well received. Participants signed up for two weekends of training with guided mentoring in between, and this brought a new dynamic to the whole experience. There was much enthusiasm as everyone met together physically and also virtually! Indeed, an online meeting at the midway point proved inspirational as everyone gathered for a time of devotion and teaching before breaking into virtual small groups. Pairing this online experience with the two weekends meeting in person, seemed to work well. Please pray for this group as they continue to ‘work out’ what God has ‘worked in’.

HM Poland 2018...
There was much encouragement for the HM Poland team this November, as many participants gathered for training. It was a fast paced few days with many good challenges and some fresh inspiration for the development of HM in Poland. The team in Poland is growing and there is much enthusiasm about the potential for the year ahead. Please pray the team would know much wisdom and courage as they press ahead in Jesus' Name.

HM Poland 2017...It was a great blessing to spend the first week of September being surrounded by thirteen outgoing, passionate, eager to learn and discuss Polish emerging leaders. Many came from broken families and challenging backgrounds, but all wanted to find out what God has in store for them. From the first evening the group clicked well and despite poor weather conditions, they kept high spirits. Many participants shared how particular topics turned out spot on for them - that's always encouraging.

HM Poland 2016...The leadership team were very encouraged to see the continued growth and influence of History Makers as a tool in His hands for gospel growth across Poland. 28 young leaders spent a week together with much inspiration, fun and revelation as we met with God. There was a clear sense of purpose as we met together and a strong commitment at the end of the week to make this training count in Jesus' Name! Watch this space...

HM Poland July and September 2015...In July, we had the privilege of running History Makers as a 'stream' within the 'Christ is King' conference near Katowice. 30 young leaders gathered each day and very quickly word got round about the impact it was having. More tried to join the group(!) but, having missed the foundational first couple of days, signed up for next year instead. There were many positive testimonies as the week went on and we are believing for impact well beyond this week.
Then in September we held the second 2015 HM. It was a Spirit-filled fun-packed week! Young leaders came together to seek God, be equipped, and to strategically pursue the vision God has for their lives. Please pray for these young leaders as they return to their churches and start to work out what God has worked in. Watch this space... |

HM Poland Autumn 2014...Emerging leaders came from across Poland to join in this year's HM held in the South of the country. It was truly an inspiring time as we together explored the call to leadership, with several participants hearing specifically from God concerning His vision for their lives. And perhaps most encouragingly, we heard in the 2 weeks following from a local church leader, who said that the difference in his young leaders after HM was amazing, a transformation

I realized that it really is important to have a vision, as then you know the direction you're walking in and there's a smaller probability of a wasted life." |
