During the difficult days of conflict during 2022, we have been working closely with some of our History Makers team and graduates as they seek to honour Jesus in very difficult circumstances. Graduates are serving across Ukraine, and in some very dangerous places as they seek to bring the hope of Jesus alongside the provision of very practical help. They are providing basic necessities, including specific help during the winter months in the form of clothing, blankets, heating appliances and generators. Our History Makers core team, largely in Lviv, are doing all they can to support History Makers alumni across this nation. We had the privilege of making a brief visit to Lviv in early September to encourage and pray alongside our team there. Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters as they seek to be faithful to His call in all things.
HM Ukraine 2017...Olya Kornyliuk writes: "We were far out on the mountain called Ilz, but the name of the venue was Sion. It was beautiful remote location with great views on awesome God's creation. There were 21 of us. The reviews and evaluations I keep hearing since we met are that it was truly a life-changing experience for participants. We are planning 3 regional conferences for September-October, so asking for prayer for that.

God has opened my heart and those values that History Makers teach have touched my life. There is a lot to change and there is where to strive. And here the main thing is that without Jesus everything is losing all meaning. That is why the first theme was: Intimacy with God. God again showed me who I am without Him and it made me think... Thank you history makers for your contribution to people's lives. (2017 participant)

History Makers has been established in Ukraine for 5+ years now and the ministry continues to flourish under the leadership of Olya Kornylyuk. May 2016 was another brilliant time to see a further 17 young leaders equipped during May. Meeting together in a more central location, the week was filled with some excellent teaching, sharp challenges and hopefully will prove a springboard for deep and rich ministry in the days ahead! |

“I was at History Makers in 2011 and it had a huge impact on my life”. Olya then proceeded to quote me word for word some of the teaching on finding God’s vision for your life. God had spoken to her and the vision was clear. So much so that in September this year she leaves Ukraine and joins with a church planting ministry in Krakow (HM Ukraine May 2015)
