History Makers Summit, September 2022...After a number of training initiatives in recent times, here was an opportunity to bring together some key leaders, including a group from Armenia, to spend 3 days together, seeking God for the ‘what next?’ The thrust of this time was all about multiplication… reviewing materials, looking at strategy, and all with the clear focus of ‘Equipping Leaders. Spreading the Gospel.’ It was a precious time, and emotional at times, particularly as conflict broke out between Armenia and Azerbaijan, even as we met together. We pray that History Makers may be a tool in His hands to bring reconciliation as brothers and sisters from across nations (we have History Makers in Azerbaijan too) keep their eyes on Jesus and seek only to live for Him and serve Him in these days.

HM Georgia, February 2022...58 leaders, young, and some older, came together in snowy Bakuriani for a week of training in biblical leadership. It was a stirring week as the participants dug into the 8 core values of biblical leadership and left with new tools and fresh inspiration as they returned to their places of ministry. HM Georgia, February 2020...45 leaders from Georgia, Armenia and the North Caucasus region travelled to a snowy Bakuriani in February of 2020. With two groups running simultaneously, we spent 5 days digging into the scripture and wrestling with the History Makers 8 biblical core values of outstanding Gospel-centred leadership. With teaching led from Georgia, the Ukraine, UK and USA, it was a thrilling and fun week, full of laughter, tears and earnest calling out to God for our nations. We are looking to Jesus to take this special week together and multiply our learning for far reaching Gospel impact well beyond the lands represented.

“I have read many books, even taught on vision, but you have brought something new and my understanding is fulfilled. My soul is blessed” “Don’t miss anything. Squeeze [History Makers] like a lemon. Every last drop!” |
HM Georgia/Armenia, Sept 2019...We had an amazing gathering of 90 participants for a special History Makers training at the beginning of September. Young leaders gathered from Armenia, Georgia and a few other nations including India, Iran, Ossetia and the Philippines. Training was held in three different rooms with joint times of worship and enjoying food and recreation together. It was an inspiring time as together we explored the 8 Biblical core values for leadership, and called upon the Lord for the various nations represented, and, indeed, for Europe. This was a dynamic group of young men and women who, by God’s grace, want to make a difference with their lives in Jesus’ Name. Please pray for them.
N* – a young woman visiting the same venue with her grandparents, where we were holding the History Makers. From Armenia. Faculty got talking to her and introduced her to the Armenian team here, who are from the same city! She came to Christ this week and attended the last couple of days of History Makers! |
“Young people can write history. We are this generation” (Georgia graduate) “We are invited to many conferences, but our expectations have been blown away here” |
HM Georgia, Feb 2019...
The gathering in mid February in a snowy region of Georgia was a special one. Several senior church leaders, including three bishops, came together to experience History Makers with a view to using this training material as a tool for leadership training across their many churches throughout the country. With some great teaching input from senior leaders travelling from the US, UK and Romania, it proved to be a moving and definitive week. Testimonies flowed as participants gave thanks to God for the impact in their own lives, as well as for this new tool now in their hands for the advance of the Gospel in Georgia. |

"At the Workshop a Pastor stood up and said that he has been looking for a programme to teach all his servant leaders in his church. He said that he had now found that programme perfectly. He would use it in a discipleship/leadership capacity. Pastor David, another one of the Bishops stood up and talked about the 12 ways in which he is going to use this material. His comments were so encouraging. A couple of others shared how they were going to adapt the material to teach to children and young people. They loved the fact that it was in their own language." |
HM Georgia 2018...Praise the Lord. By God’s grace we could do the History Makers Conference 2018, Georgia in the coastal city Ureki from 9th to 14th September. It was a great time of worship, learning and fellowship. There were 31 people including teachers. Two of the teachers came from Turkey and the rest were from my team. God was good throughout the conference. Many of the participants were challenged to be more passionate for the harvest. Please do pray that God will use all those who participated. (Pastor M)

HM Georgia 2017...
Georgia hosted its second History Makers in the town of Bakuriani where they welcomed 19 participants; including three from neighbouring country of Azerbaijan where HM has yet to go! Some were earlier in their calling and others further along, yet all were eager to grow. It was a fantastic week of equipping, dreaming and planning how they further the spread of the gospel in their churches, refugee camps in the Middle East, neighbouring cities and in the villages across the country through medical missions.

“It stirred us up to focus on the vision God has given us.” (Lini) “I was able to find the missing qualities of a leader in my life.” (Kevin) |
HM Georgia 2016...
The very first History Makers in Georgia took place in the balmy autumn weather near Borjomi. 24 young leaders gathered high up in the mountains for a week of exploring how to be better equipped for the leadership task ahead of them. As well as sharp teaching and times of focussed spiritual development, we also had an open-air evangelistic film evening held in a local town, where at least 50 people were engaged with the life transforming gospel message. A dynamic week, with some very clear plans arising to take the training to different regions across Georgia, to help equip others for gospel centred ministry.
"I have received many new things. Many practical things. Now I see what is necessary to change in my life" "This week I got clear vision for my ministry and the exact words my ministry needed" "I have heard God's voice very clearly. I thought, 'who is that speaking?' Then I realised it was the whisper of God" (young leader, HM 2016) |
