"I serve as a pastor in Sibiu, a church founded 6 years ago. It all started with an History Makers class. Now we reach more than 150 people and serve in the community by running an orphanage. History Makers has a direct implication in the first Methodist church formation in Sibiu (second Methodist church in Romania).” Pastor Cristian, November 2020 |

What is History Makers and how can I take part?
Partnering with International Leadership Institute, the VISION of History Makers is to change history by accelerating the spread of the gospel through leaders of leaders empowered by the Holy Spirit.
The History Makers MISSION is to train and mobilise leaders of leaders to reach their nations with the gospel. |
Working with emerging leaders in order to impact the kingdom of God both today and tomorrow, HM believes emerging leaders aged between 18-30's can reap great benefits for the future. If they remain faithful to God, History Makers have an average of 40 years to make history for God…
TEACHING encompasses eight core values which we believe God looks for in the life of every Christian leader. These form the basis for all of our equipping and empowering.
1. Intimacy with God
2. Passion for the harvest 3. Visionary leadership 4. Culturally relevant evangelism 5. Multiplication of leaders 6. Family priority 7. Stewardship 8. Integrity |
‘…and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.’ 2 Timothy 2:2 |
Testimonies
“It’s been such a short time here and I have more energy and fire for God. My heart is burning to reach people.”
(Church planter in Bulgaria - regularly beaten up as he proclaims the Gospel in a difficult area)
“T* is a young believer living in Turkey. He participated in History Makers where he learned the eight core values of leadership. During his life as a believer, he has always had a desire to glorify the Lord by spreading the gospel and serving in a compassion-based ministry. But in order to make this vision a reality he was uncertain of what steps he needed to take. With the History Makers training he understood some of the steps. At History Makers, the Lord shaped his vision. He decided before the Lord to make God’s word known by spreading the gospel in various regions of Turkey. He wants to see the people whom he proclaims the gospel to then also go and make disciples.
For ten months, T*, along with a few other willing believers, travelled around various regions in Turkey and started proclaiming God’s word. He received word that some of the people he shared the good news with have shared it with others and have even started to disciple new believers.
T* and his friends also visited the poor and destitute in four regions of Eastern Turkey. They provided people in these areas with food and clothing. The people saw that this help came from Jesus. Some of them even came to faith. Through this ministry of mercy we have seen the Lord multiply his disciples.”
