On Mission in Slovenia...
In September 2023, K180 sent a team of four to work alongside Llubljana Evangelical Church in the capital of Slovenia. We led some street evangelism training for a group from different churches, prayed for the city, and preached the Gospel on the streets alongside the small team that are doing the same each week. We also visited a church plant in Domžale, a town just outside Llubjana, led by Goran, an alumnus of History Makers Slovenia. On the Sunday, Martin was invited to preach and others of the team shared testimonies during the main service. Please pray for Gospel fruit in Ljubljana and across Slovenia as the good seed of God’s Word is sown. |

On Mission in Slovenia...
In September 2019, K180 was invited by Meta, who leads History Makers Slovenia, to partner with a church in Ljubljana for a weekend of evangelism training and street outreach. Meta and some of the church members have a desire to do more street outreach on a regular basis in Ljubljana. On the Friday evening we met up with a few History Makers graduates from the church and discussed our History Makers journeys. We reflected on the lessons we learned from History Makers and the impact it has had on our lives. We prayed for God to continue walking us through the visions that He gave us during our History Makers journeys. It was encouraging to hear about the impact that History Makers had made in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Slovenia. Saturday began with two training sessions: ‘What is the Gospel?’ and ‘Using Illustrated Messages to Share the Gospel’. After lunch we went out to the centre of Ljubljana; an area busy with tourists, some of whom stopped to listen to the Gospel being proclaimed in both English and Slovene. There was also a good number of conversations as a result of the outreach. It was really encouraging to see some of the church members sharing their testimony on the streets for the first time. On Sunday morning we held two further training sessions: ‘Gospel Conversations’ and ‘Passion for the Harvest’. In the afternoon we went back to centre of the town. People were stopping to listen and there were many conversations. More of the church members volunteered to share their testimonies and the Gospel message on the streets. We were also joined by a pastor from another church who said they had been encouraged with what we were doing and would very much like to have K180 back in Ljubljana for more street evangelism and training. In the evening we attended the service at the church where they spoke on the importance of evangelism. |

It was really encouraging to see the hunger for evangelism and the desire for growth in Christ in the hearts of the church. We pray that God would continue to grow in their hearts the desire to see the lost saved. We thank God for all the people who heard the Gospel through the preaching and in the many conversations over those two days. We pray that He will bring all those people to salvation. We look forward to hearing what the Lord will continue to do in Ljubljana. Please join us in praying for continued sharing of the Gospel by the members of the church and for the church to continue growing spiritually and in numbers.
