Covid hampered meeting in person for a couple of years. However, we completed an exciting 6-week online training journey during the pandemic, which was well received and served to sharpen each one for the ministry in hand.

The second national History Makers training in Italy took place in a beautiful area of Catania, Sicily. With most participants coming from the north of Italy, it was quite the adventure, especially with faculty drawn from Italy, Iceland and the USA. It was a dynamic week with much fun, good fellowship and plenty to think about as the group were challenged about what it means to live lives of Gospel-centred leadership. There was much excitement at the close and plans were forming for multiplying the training across Italy, knowing that such training will lead to more people ultimately hearing the Gospel and having opportunity to respond to this life-transforming message.

HM Italy 2018...History Makers launched in Italy this July! This dream has been in the pipeline of one Italian leader for around 18 months leading up to the event and he, alongside us all, rejoiced to see it become reality. With participants from three different cities, plus the K180 KSchoolers participating, it was a gathering that quickly gelled. It was clear that the Lord was speaking as various participants shared testimony. Of particular encouragement was hearing how the Lord was directly and clearly speaking about vision for ministry in the lives of several. Very exciting as we consider the potential being birthed. Watch this space as HM Italy develops and these young participants now seek to work out what God has worked in!
