K-Accelerate Participant Practical Opportunities
Please find below the present availability of practical opportunities for 2019. As detailed previously, the goal of such opportunities is to facilitate teaching/preaching opportunities for you, and to give an insight into the leadership side of such initiatives (e.g. the why and how of such events, long-term strategy etc.)
Please note:
1) We would like you to complete three such trips between now and 31st March 2020.
2) The list below contains the present available dates. More dates will be forthcoming so please have the freedom to wait for the next update if preferred. We will email you each time the web page is updated. The reason for staggering the dates is simply because we are still agreeing dates with partners.
3) There are two sets of dates (below) that we are hoping all, or most, participants can join in together. The plan is that one of these form part of your 3 required trips. However, both can be part of the 3 if desired.
4) It may be that we have included opportunities based in your home country. We are not expecting you to include these as one of your 3. However, if you want to participate as an extra opportunity, please let us know.
5) A written reflection is due within 3 weeks after the event. We will email the expectations for that reflection as part of the planning for each event.

Young evangelists training
This training is part of a two-year modular course designed to train and equip evangelists emerging (i.e. early in their call) into a ministry of proclamation evangelism. The course consists of a core of four separate residential long weekends of training together with additional days, mentoring and opportunities to participate in major evangelistic initiatives. Here is a link that explains more: www.k180.org/emerging-evangelists-institute (with links at the foot to different country pages). The opportunities below are to attend one of those residential weekends where evangelists are being trained.

History Makers (training for young leaders)
By way of brief background, History Makers (HM) is a global ministry seeking to equip young leaders (18-35 ish) for strong, biblical, missional leadership in the 21st century. Designed to run in partnership with local churches, History Makers is the young leaders stream of the International Leadership Institute (www.iliteam.org). It has been very encouraging to see how God is using this tool to equip young leaders across Europe, as participants spend a week together exploring eight biblical core values for leadership. In essence, our goal is to equip leaders and spread the gospel. So HM is aimed at those relatively early in their call to leadership or those who have potential for leadership. This is leadership in any capacity - in church, youth work, para-church ministry, workplace etc. We keep numbers relatively small (around 20-30 per session) so as to hopefully maximise impact.
Here are the two web links you could take a look at: www.historymakerseurope.org and www.k180.org/historymakers
