21-25 August, 2018
August sees a swell in the population of Scotland’s capital due to the annual Edinburgh Festivals which run for almost the whole month. We will be working alongside the team from Heralds Trust who seek to engage Festival goers on the streets through serving free drinks and starting conversations about the Gospel with those who will stop. We hope to complement this approach with some other engaging proclamation street ministry. Team members will be staying in the homes of local Christians, just outside Edinburgh, in the locality of Livingston. The team will commute into Edinburgh each day for the final week of the festivals using public transport.

In the beautiful north of Italy, this K180 team will be working with an established partner in street ministry and related evangelistic outreach. The team will also be joined by some FEE participants (young Italian evangelists in training) as we seek to reach the local community for Christ. It is expected that the K180 team will also lead evangelism training for local churches. No experience is necessary to be part of this team, just a willingness to "Go" and a readiness to be used by the Lord in evangelistic witness.

This mission weekend takes place in the town of Elgin, in the Scottish Highlands, about an hour east of Inverness. The team will be working alongside Elgin Community Church of God (a growing pentecostal church in the town) in evangelism, on the streets and reaching out to university students. We hope to lead some training on the Saturday and serve alongside the local church on the Sunday. Accommodation will be in hosts’ homes from the church.
