We welcomed Nils from Immanuel Church in Wolfsburg, Germany for a ten-day traineeship. Nils was very eager & teachable. By the end of day one, he was sharing his testimony of Jesus on the street, and on day two he was also preaching the gospel using illustrated messages. It was a pleasure to have Nils with us; he approached training and ministry with great energy and a keen sense of humour.
Nils says:
“What my two weeks in London with K180 manly characterise, is the word 'inspiring'. The balance between professional preparation and being challenged to preach on the street, was perfect. Most difficult [in my training] was the first time on the box to preach but I felt well prepared. [It] was good to do this right in the beginning…no time that doubts can grow. Gareth and Jason made it possible to see lots of different places and were absolutely motivated to give an inside of the actual evangelistic work. It was inspiring to see people having a real passion about sharing the gospel. The central recognition for me, which is worth to share, was to realise that Jesus act on the cross means magnificent change for each and every person. From death to life. I really felt equipped to start, back in my hometown, some own outreaches.” (Nils)
