Tailor-made training
A key aspect of any training period is that it will be tailor-made to the individual(s) concerned. Our heart is for individuals to be encouraged and equipped - returning home with their expectations exceeded. Therefore, we’ll take time to assess and discuss expectations before a training opportunity starts, seeking to understand where someone is spiritually, their understanding of gifting, what they want to achieve from the time of training etc. We’ll then prepare an appropriate schedule. Consequently, we’re flexible with the length of the training period and would be happy to consider applications for any length of time.
Our desire is that trainees will not only benefit from working alongside us, but also that we can see the contribution they’ll have made to this ministry. In this respect, the following points (though not exhaustive) will hopefully give prospective trainees an idea of our expectations:

- To fully participate in ongoing K180 ministry - both locally and within the European context.
- To undertake various assignments designed to enhance the effectiveness of your ministry. These can include such things as reading and general study, as well as practical assignments. Naturally, these will be outlined and agreed upon at the outset of the traineeship.
- To work alongside related ministries with whom K180 has a relationship
- To play an active part in the local church

12-month traineeship
If you are aged 18-29 and have a desire to share the Gospel and help others to do so, our 12 month traineeship may be just right for you. Including two days a week alongside a partner church, this rich training will grow your experience in evangelistic ministry and afford some great opportunities to experience mission in the UK and Europe.

Including two days a week alongside a partner church, this rich training will grow your experience in evangelistic ministry and afford some great opportunities to experience mission in the UK and Europe.
The traineeship includes:
- Evangelism training with a focus to be equipped to train others
- Active proclamation of the Gospel, principally in a street evangelism context
- Exploring evangelism with other ministry partners, giving a rich variety of mission experience
- One to one mentoring
- Spiritual development
- Bible study and teaching
- The opportunity to experience short term mission on the European mainland
- Working the equivalent of 2 days a week alongside a London church, mentored by K180, helping the church develop an evangelistic culture
- Leadership development including History Makers experience
Finance
Applicants are responsible for raising their own finance to cover the cost of the training period. However, from time to time we do have scholarships available, and we would be happy to discuss individual requirements should finance potentially prevent you from applying.

- Finance is calculated after initial discussions of expectations, as much depends on the nature of the training time (length of stay, travel etc.)
- We seek to place trainees with Christian families to support their time with us.
